She savours sea shells
I grew up in Cornwall and still have incredibly fond memories of the county. The village that I’m from is also home to what was once the Duchy Oyster Farm. A few years ago, I collected some shells from the local beach, and during the Covid-19 lockdown my daughter has decoupaged them. They are now a beautiful reminder of my heritage but also act as a promise to ourselves that we will make sure we spend more time in the places that we love when things return to normal.
We have all been missing the water and ‘messing about in boats’, so this connection to the sea gave us great happiness while we can’t physically be there.
